Description

The Microplasty Ligamentum Cutter is a specialized surgical instrument used during hip replacement procedures to cut the ligamentum teres femoris.

It is used to sever the ligamentum teres femoris prior to dislocating the femoral head from the acetabulum during hip surgery

The curved design allows it to be positioned between the ball and socket of the hip joint

The spacers tension the ligament to make cutting easier and more controlled.
